In Loving Memory of Bishop Nicola De Angelis

It is with a heavy heart that we learned of the death of Bishop Nicola De Angelis, CFIC this 16 June 2023 in Montefiascone (Italy) at the age of 84 years. He was an Auxiliary Bishop in the Archdiocese of Toronto and the Bishop of Peterborough Diocese. He was a member of our religious family, the Congregation of the Sons of the Immaculate Conception and he spent some time with us here at Immaculate Conception Parish, Woodbridge after his retirement.

He will be buried on 17 June 2023 at 3pm in his village in Pozzaglia Sabina (Rieti, Italy). He will be greatly missed. Please remember him in your prayers. Rest in peace good and faithful servant.
